ideas on foods to lose weight? advice?
Byso i guess today was like a slack day in my diet lol
im a 16 yr old girl,5′4”, 110 lbs. ive lost 20, trying at the last stubborn few..
so today for breakfast i had a serving of oatmeal(150 calories) with 20 blueberries, a banana, and a serving(110 calories) of dannon lite&fit fat free yogurt. ..i overate:( felt like i was gonna bust!
then for lunch, i had 1 grilled chicken breast, 1 chicken&spinach sausage(110 calories), 1 cup of steamed veggies( 50 calories).
then for a rare treat i had a homemade ice cream sandwich(2 cookies..130 calories each…and a tiny bit of ice cream in the middle..it soaked into the cookies, so you couldnt see anything..so like 100 calories for that?)
then i went for a 30 minute bike ride and drank a ton of water, so i was soo full i didnt eat dinner.
i had a serving(20 calories) of metamucil too.
what should i do to boost my metabolism to keep losing weight! these last few lbs are taking forever
am i doing anything wrong?
about how many calories did i eat today??
oh, and if anyone has any low calorie recipes that are filling, healthy, cheap and easy for a teen to make, please share! i get tired of the same things over and over, therefore my cheat days are unhealthy..like today..

u are perfect at 110 dear, now just maintain it. meet with a dietitian if you don’t think so, but u are the weight I’d love to be again, and I’m the same height as you!

you should keep on eating what you want b/c you are much better at controlling yourself than i am and you are eating healthy. you should work out a little more like doing 50 good crunches instead of biking sometimes b/c your body gets used to the workout and you stop burning fat and you burn less calories.
you can toast two pieces of bread and put nutella on them. you can also put crumbled oreos in vanilla or straberry yogurt too.

hey dont worry,, will give u suggestions to loose weight ok… but follow this carefully.. never skip your food at any point of time, as that will give u acidity and other complications.
have as much of water as you can…. u need not have to stop yourself from drinking water…..
breakfast: (7 – 8 am) oats + apple
11am – tea + 2 biscuits
lunch: 1 cup rice(not basmati ok) + veggies(salted and minimal spices and not heavy spiced veggies) + 1 roti + salad
3pm – tea + 1 pear
8:pm – dinner (with just 3 rotis + cucumber salad + veggie)
do this and you can see the difference…
in this menu you are having food with regular intervals, yet you will looseeeeeeeeee weight

I commend you on sticking to a diet! I have never been able to, I’m quite the sucker for the good stuff generally known as the junk. In addition to your healthy eating don’t forget to exercise! Now as far as recipes that are cheap but good as well as healthy…Try checking out the DSM Food website. There’s quite a few recipes, whether dessert or a main dish, they’re ALL healthy and cheap! The creator is a chef and what he’s done is create recipes for those who want to eat quality food, but a healthier and cheaper version. Good luck!

you might want to try a low calorie and low fat chili recipe. Most people do not realize how low calorie and low fat chili recipes are. What I love is that chili is very filling so you are not hungry an hour or two later
This site has a great section on easy healthy recipes
